Theresa Fowler — Gamer, Writer, Project Owner
Hello! I’m Theresa Fowler, and I’m the voice and face behind everything you read on this site. I’ve been writing about World of Warcraft for over a decade, and playing it even longer. If you’ve ever found yourself lost in a dungeon, unsure how to gear up, or wondering what’s coming in the next patch — then we probably have more in common than you think.
Where It All Started
I first stepped into Azeroth in 2006. I was still in college back then, and I didn’t expect the game to hold my attention for more than a few weeks. But it pulled me in immediately — the stories, the characters, the challenge of learning mechanics and finding good groups. What started as a weekend hobby quickly turned into something I made time for every day.
I remember joining my first raid group like it was yesterday. I was nervous and barely geared. I didn’t have voice chat, didn’t know half the tactics, and wiped the group more times than I want to admit. But I learned. And since then, I’ve completed every major raid, led guild events, and helped new players find their way.
Writing and the Idea Behind This Site
This site came about because I wanted a place where I could explain the game in a way that makes sense. Too many guides jump from one point to the next, assuming you already know everything. I never liked that approach. So I started writing how I talk — clear, helpful, and without skipping steps.
I began with small posts on class builds, then expanded into dungeon tips, add-on reviews, profession advice, and event calendars. When people started writing to me with questions or saying my guides helped them clear content, I knew I wanted to keep going.
Now I treat this site like my full-time project. I update every page myself, test strategies in-game, and double-check every change after patches. There’s no team behind this — no ghostwriters, no marketing agency — just me and a genuine interest in helping other players.
My Playstyle and Preferences
I’ve played all roles at different times: tank, healer, and DPS. These days, I spend more time healing, especially in Mythic+ runs and organized raid nights. I’m also a huge fan of mount collecting and achievement hunting. If there’s a strange NPC hiding in a cave or a hard-to-get toy in the middle of nowhere, I’ll probably find it.
I’m not a PvP legend or a speedrunner, but I care deeply about how this game feels to play. I test add-ons weekly, try out leveling routes for alts, and experiment with different gearing setups just to see what works better.
Life Outside the Game
Outside of WoW, I live in Manchester, UK. I share a flat with my dog Daisy, a very opinionated beagle who lets me know when I’ve been online too long. I love strong coffee, early morning walks, and classic strategy games. I also have a thing for organizing old game boxes — yes, I still have my vanilla WoW discs.
Though I don’t share much about my personal life online, I believe in staying approachable. If you email me, I’ll reply. If you send feedback or corrections, I’ll take it seriously. This site is for all of us who love the game and want a place to get real advice, not fluff.
Where to Find Me
If you ever need to get in touch — whether it’s a question about a guide or a suggestion for future content — I’d love to hear from you.

I check my inbox regularly and always try to reply within a few days. Please keep in mind that I run everything solo, so during peak times (like patch weeks), it might take me a bit longer.
A Final Note
If you’ve found something helpful on this site — a strategy that saved your dungeon run, a tip that boosted your gold income, or just a fun idea to try in-game — then I’ve done my job.
Thanks for stopping by, and more importantly, thank you for being part of this game’s long and wild journey. See you in Azeroth.
